About Us

Think Evolve Solutions offers comprehensive capabilities and experience in the Aerospace and Defence sectors. These have been learnt through practical real world experience of delivering complex programmes and developing engineering teams. 

The business was originally formed by Steve Hyde in 2019 after leaving a 22 year career at Rolls-Royce plc to pursue a new challenge. Steve enjoyed his first contracts at Reaction Engines Ltd so much he stayed on as a permanent employee. He re-formed Think Evolve Solutions in 2024. 

Steve is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE. His earlier career has included aero engine failure investigation, certification, modification clearance, flight test and technology verification. Over the last 10 years Steve has an impressive track record of leading teams to successfully deliver complex propulsion system ground and flight tests, including first of type novel technologies. Additionally he has held programme and engineering capability leadership positions.
